A former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu; Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode; and Afenifere chieftain, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, have described the death of HID Awolowo as an irreparable loss to the nation.
They stated this during the service of songs and lying in state of the deceased at the Awolowos’ Park Lane residence in the Apapa area of Lagos State on Sunday.
