The Kogi state university, Ayangba, has expelled about 68 students for various offenses ranging from examination malpractice, poor academic performance to failure to register on time.
This was made known in a statement, issued by the University Registrar, Dr Yakubu Abubakar in Lokoja, the state capital today.
He added that 19 of the affected students were expelled for various examination misconduct while 49 others had poor academic performances.
Abubakar also noted that some students also had their admission withdrawn for failure to register in the school within the stipulated period and wrong entry requirements and that the affected students cut across all the faculties.
