Caitlyn Jenner couldn’t wait to get the birthday party started.
The “I Am Cait” star turns 66 on Wednesday, and she kicked off festivities one day early with a birthday lunch attended by daughter Kylie Jenner, stepdaughters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian and Kourtney’s daughter Penelope.
Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, who has been spending time with husband Lamar Odom as he continues his recovery at a Los Angeles hospital, were missing from the outing. Caitlyn Jenner celebrated her birthday one day early Tuesday at lunch with Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian. Kim als shared a picture of Caitlyn taking a selfie with her, as she wrote ' Happy birthday Caitlyn! Are you 66 of is Caitlyn 1? Lol that was the debate at our bday lunch yesterday! The birthday girl met up with her family at The Villa Restaurant in Woodland Hills on Tuesday. The lunch was filmed for scenes to be featured on either “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” or “I Am Cait,” according to Us Weekly.After having lunch with her family, Caitlyn attended the premiere of the Logo TV web series “Beautiful As I Want To Be” Tuesday night — marking her first time walking the red carpet.
"Technically it is my 'first' birthday, and I got to share it with a couple of my daughters today," Caitlyn told People at the launch party.
"We had a wonderful lunch. But, certainly, since coming out, this is my first birthday."
The reality star looked stunning in a dark velvet gown, and was thrilled when she was honored with a birthday cake at the event.
Caitlyn has had a landmark year that saw her open up about her transition in an interview with Diane Sawyer in April, followed by her debut as Caitlyn on the July cover of Vanity Fair.
Caitlyn, dressed in a black printed top and leather pants, commemorated the occasion with a selfie with her 18-year-old daughter.
“Happy birthday dad what an amazing year for you,” Kylie captioned the Instagram photo.
